People can ask questions about expungements and pardons by emailing expungemke@gmail.com. Individuals can email their name, date of birth, address, phone number and brief explanation of the conviction they are interested in and the Justice Center will respond directly to them on what their legal options are.
The volunteers that staff the Family Law Forms Assistance cannot provide legal advice.
The Justice Center also operates a Mobile Legal Clinic that provides brief legal advice from volunteer lawyers, get help with forms from law students, and get referrals to other legal resources, if needed.
The Mobile Legal Clinic operates on Mondays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for general civil legal advice, and Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for appointments to discuss expungements and pardons.
The appointments will be done remotely over any device that has cell or internet services. Call 278-2046 and leave a voicemail with your name, phone number, and a brief description of your legal question. The Mobil Legal Clinic team will return your call to schedule an appointment.
